Theme versions and compatibility

Outstock 2 design version is different from Outstock 1.x and is not an update for Outstock 1.x. The documentation for version 2.x is similar to Version 1.x. We continue lifetime updates for both versions at each release.

• Two distinct design lines: Outstock 1.x (earlier) and Outstock 2 (new design).
• Compatibility maintained with WordPress and WooCommerce across releases; ongoing updates cover PHP8 support and Woocommerce adaptations.
• Update methods:
  • Fast update by uploading and overwriting main theme files via FTP to wp-content/themes/<main-theme-folder>.
  • Alternatively, update via the Envato Tool Kit plugin using the purchased code.
• Recommended plugin updates when the theme version requires them:
  • Update Lionthemes Helper, WPBakery Page Builder, and Revolution Slider if required by the theme version.
  • You may deactivate, delete, and reinstall these plugins from the dashboard as recommended.
